It sports an exposed hammer, a traditional double-action trigger mechanism, a single-column magazine, and a fixed barrel that also acts as a guide rod for the recoil spring.
The Walther PPK pistol is best known as the personal gun of fictional MI6 agent James Bond, as seen in many of his films and novels: Ian Fleming's choice of the Walther PPK directly influenced its popularity and notoriety.
Both Penelope Pussycat and Mona Pussycat are a crack shot with the Walther PPK, and use it as their personal self-defense weapon. They praise the weapon for its compact size (allowing them to conceal it easily) and the common availability of the 9mmx19 ("the Parabellum rounds") ammunition. Stanisław Zaleski has also used the PPK a couple of times in the series.
The Comintern members are equipped with similar pistols, such as the Makarov and the PSM. The "Vanguards of the Proletariat" are more fond of their own weaponry, a notable exception is Behemoth, who does have in his firearm collection one PPK.
